About The Position

This role is responsible for accelerating the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) across the development organization by identifying high-value use cases, delivering scalable proof-of-concepts, and driving measurable improvements in developer productivity and quality. The role combines technical depth with strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Typically requires 8+ years relevant experience in software development, including Python or other modern languages
  • Experience with Large Language Models
  • Experience working with Microsoft Co-Pilot and Anthropic Claude.
  • Familiarity in creating AI agents

Responsibilities

  • Conduct recurring Voice of Customer (VOC) engagements with development teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities where GenAI can deliver measurable value.
  • Translate VOC insights into prioritized GenAI use cases aligned with business and engineering goals.
  • Evaluate and benchmark emerging GenAI technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Design and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) solutions that demonstrate clear value and are scalable for adoption by larger development teams.
  • Lead the adoption of GenAI capabilities across the development organization, ensuring tools are integrated into daily developer workflows.
  • Partner with teams to drive sustained usage and embed GenAI as a standard way of working.
  • Identify and automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone development activities using GenAI and related technologies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that quantify improvements in productivity, quality, and cycle time.
  • Establish clear KPIs to measure GenAI impact, including adoption, effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine solutions and guide future investments.
  • Stay current with GenAI industry trends, best practices, and evaluation techniques.
  • Proactively share insights, learnings, and recommendations with the broader development organization.
  • Ensure all GenAI solutions comply with Rockwell Automation AI policies, data governance standards, and security requirements.
