About The Position

This role is responsible for accelerating the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) across the development organization by identifying high-value use cases, delivering scalable proof-of-concepts, and driving measurable improvements in developer productivity and quality. The role combines technical depth with strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree.

Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

Nice To Haves

Typically requires 8+ years relevant experience in software development, including Python or other modern languages
Experience with Large Language Models
Experience working with Microsoft Co-Pilot and Anthropic Claude.
Familiarity in creating AI agents

Responsibilities

Conduct recurring Voice of Customer (VOC) engagements with development teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities where GenAI can deliver measurable value.
Translate VOC insights into prioritized GenAI use cases aligned with business and engineering goals.
Evaluate and benchmark emerging GenAI technologies, tools, and platforms.
Design and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) solutions that demonstrate clear value and are scalable for adoption by larger development teams.
Lead the adoption of GenAI capabilities across the development organization, ensuring tools are integrated into daily developer workflows.
Partner with teams to drive sustained usage and embed GenAI as a standard way of working.
Identify and automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone development activities using GenAI and related technologies.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that quantify improvements in productivity, quality, and cycle time.
Establish clear KPIs to measure GenAI impact, including adoption, effectiveness, and business outcomes.
Use data-driven insights to refine solutions and guide future investments.
Stay current with GenAI industry trends, best practices, and evaluation techniques.
Proactively share insights, learnings, and recommendations with the broader development organization.
Ensure all GenAI solutions comply with Rockwell Automation AI policies, data governance standards, and security requirements.
