About The Position
AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI. We bridge the gap between complex cloud data platforms—like Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery—and the business users who need consistent, AI-ready analytics. We are looking for a Senior Engineer AI to help us redefine how the world handles business intelligence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 7+ years specifically developing AI algorithms or technologies
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Git/CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work East Coast (ET) hours, overlapping with our core collaboration hours of 10 AM to 5 PM EST (EST or CST candidates preferred).

Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and scale GenAI solutions, leveraging foundational model APIs, 3rd party frameworks (such as LlamaIndex), and embedding optimization to solve complex customer problems.
- Partner closely with DevOps, AI, and software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI models, debug AI-generated responses, and ensure smooth software functionality.
- Assess AI-generated content for bias, accuracy, and compliance while continuously measuring model performance to recommend scalable improvements.
