About The Position

The AI Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing AI/ML solutions, with a focus on healthcare data. This role requires strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare data and compliance requirements. The position is remote/hybrid and requires eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI technologies
• Experience with healthcare datasets, including Medicare, Medicaid, claims, provider, beneficiary, or clinical data
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data governance, and federal compliance requirements
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal healthcare programs or CMS initiatives
• Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Databricks, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark
• Healthcare analytics, fraud/waste/abuse detection, risk adjustment, and population health initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML models and solutions.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare data governance, HIPAA, and federal regulations.
