For this specific AI Engineer role, Beyondsoft is seeking a highly hands-on builder who can take ambiguous business problems and rapidly develop pragmatic, end-to-end solutions using modern AI tooling, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. This is not a traditional architecture or implementation role; success requires speed, experimentation, and execution with a strong bias toward delivering working solutions quickly. This position is fully remote in the PST time zone.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall experience in software, automation, or data-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Co-Pilot, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven ability to build end-to-end automated solutions quickly and pragmatically.
• Experience leveraging AI to solve real business workflow challenges.
• Work with ambiguous requirements.
• Independently define and deliver solutions.
• Balance speed with quality.
• Experience supporting live systems and workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and drive end-to-end resolution.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confident in client-facing environments.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business impact.
• Proven ownership, accountability, and ability to operate under pressure.
• Experience working with Microsoft clients or ecosystem.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation or conversational AI solutions.
• Background in startup or rapid development environments preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of SQL Server and data platforms (ability to collaborate with data teams)
• Familiarity with: Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Azure data and AI services

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered workflows and agents using Power Platform and Copilot Studio
• Translate loosely defined business processes into functional, production-ready solutions
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions with a focus on time-to-value
• Focus on practical, scalable implementations rather than over-engineered designs
• Partner with SQL/data engineering teams to extend workflows across the data platform ecosystem
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and refine solutions
• Integrate AI workflows with existing systems, reporting, and data services
• Support production workflows and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Participate in shift-based schedules (no nights) and occasional weekend support
• Operate as a fully independent contributor, delivering impact with minimal ramp-up
• Own solutions from concept through deployment, including testing and iteration
