About The Position

At Roamly Labs, the innovation and incubation arm of the Outdoorsy Group, we are building the next generation of intelligent infrastructure for the future of travel, mobility, and protection. Roamly Labs combines cutting-edge technology with real-world application, focusing on building production-ready, AI-native systems to solve complex challenges in embedded insurance, autonomous mobility, and real-time telemetry. We are seeking an AI Engineer who is an AI-native builder, possessing a strong engineering foundation and a creative, driven approach to architect, build, and deploy advanced Agentic systems. These systems will operate autonomously, reason through complex workflows, and integrate with physical and insurance tech stacks, defining the technological frontier of Roamly Labs.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping production-grade software.
• Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Deep eagerness to master the intersection of InsurTech, autonomous mobility, and IoT/telemetry data.
• High degree of autonomy, bias for action, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with sensor fusion, geospatial data, Agentic systems or time-series telemetry from connected vehicles.
• Deep familiarity with agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or custom-built cognitive loops.
• A portfolio of side projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon wins.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-agent AI architectures capable of autonomous reasoning, task planning, and executing complex workflows in real-world scenarios.
• Develop AI-driven products through agents that power solutions for the embedded insurance and autonomous mobility markets.
• Architect highly scalable AI systems that process real-time vehicle telemetry, working seamlessly alongside Full Self-Driving (FSD) and autonomous mobility systems.
• Turn audacious ideas into functional MVPs within days, and scale them into robust, production-grade enterprise solutions.
• Stay on the absolute bleeding edge of generative AI, LLMs, computer vision, and reinforcement learning, injecting an innovative mindset into every layer of our tech stack.
