About The Position

This role focuses on leveraging AI/ML and data science expertise to support federal healthcare programs. The position requires significant experience with healthcare data, various AI/ML technologies, and cloud platforms. The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and potentially supporting initiatives like fraud detection and population health management. The role can be remote or hybrid, depending on contract needs, and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI technologies
• Experience with healthcare datasets, including Medicare, Medicaid, claims, provider, beneficiary, or clinical data
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data governance, and federal compliance requirements
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

• Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Databricks, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark
• Healthcare analytics, fraud/waste/abuse detection, risk adjustment, and population health initiatives
