About The Position

WorkNomads is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team. The company focuses on building a community for global talent, celebrating diversity, and enabling people to live and work across borders. They provide remote engineering services with expert talent in cross-disciplinary project teams. The AI Engineer will be responsible for building and deploying Agentic AI systems, developing scalable back-end architectures using Python, designing and implementing AI agents from experimentation to production, working on internal AI initiatives, deploying AI services across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), collaborating with colleagues to ship production-ready systems, ensuring clean integration of AI components, and applying MLOps best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an AI Engineer
• Strong back-end development background (Python is a must)
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and architectures
• Experience with MLOps and deploying AI systems to production
• Solid software engineering foundations (not purely Data Science-focused)
• A passion for continuous learning & collaboration in a global setting
• A team player mentality and belief that no one should be left behind regardless of background
• A builder’s mindset: you think in systems, not just models
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, experimental environments

Nice To Haves

• DevOps and/or Data Analytics experience
• Experience in voice bots and CX platforms (Genesys, Nice) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Agentic AI systems
• Develop scalable back-end architectures using Python

• Deploy AI services across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ship production-ready systems

• Apply MLOps best practices to monitor, optimize, and scale AI solutions
