Build's outputs are only as good as the operations that produce them. Every deliverable we ship is composed from modular operations and capabilities, and the quality of those modules is the quality of the company. This role owns them: building new operations, improving the ones that underperform, and maintaining the library that everything else composes from. The bar is not 'plausible' or 'mostly right'. You are accountable for a senior professional at a Tier 1 institution acting on Build's output without question.

Requirements

• The individual we're looking for has built evaluations rather than just run them, and is comfortable that the bar here is set by someone else's expertise rather than their own.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the modular operations that compose Build's workflows
• Find where outputs fall short of the bar, and fix the underlying capability
• Build the evaluation harness that proves whether a change made things better
• Work with domain experts to encode what 'correct' actually means
• Reduce the human review a workflow needs without lowering the standard
• Keep the capability library composable as it grows
• Spend as much time on failure analysis as on building
• Own quality end-to-end, from prompt to delivered artifact
