About The Position

The AI Engineer, Platform and Data builds the core that everything else runs on: the data pipelines, the model and agent orchestration layer, and the APIs the applications sit on top of. You own reliability, data integrity, and the handling of sensitive data, and you turn one-off solutions into reusable platform capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 6+ years in backend, data, or ML infrastructure engineering, shipping production systems at scale
• Strong data engineering depth: pipelines, transforms, and modeling messy real-world data into usable structure
• Experience building and operating APIs and services that other engineers build on
• Hands-on with LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, or model serving in production
• Rigor around data security and access control, ideally with regulated or sensitive data
• Based in the NYC metro area and able to work on-site

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, clean, and structure data into a usable form
• Build the model and agent orchestration layer, and the APIs that applications consume
• Turn patterns hand-rolled in the field into reusable platform primitives so future work delivers more without proportional headcount
• Establish data quality frameworks and automated testing to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Own reliability, data integrity, and access control
• Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
