About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer / Data Engineer to join our team in NJC, NJ. This full-time role requires a strong background in Python development, AI/LLM applications, and data engineering. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI/LLM applications, developing REST APIs, and creating AI-powered data analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 8 years of software engineering experience, and 7+ years of specific experience in AI/Data Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong Python development with FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience building production-grade AI/LLM applications.
• Solid SQL, data modeling, and data engineering fundamentals.
• Expertise in concurrency, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
• Experience with testing, production support, and system reliability.
• Strong architectural design and technical leadership skills.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

• Agentic AI, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, or Talk-to-Data solutions.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis.
• OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus.
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), DevOps/GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Python-based AI/LLM applications using FastAPI/Flask.
• Develop REST APIs and scalable enterprise solutions.
• Build AI-powered data analytics and self-service platforms.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Risk stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentor engineering teams.
