About The Position

Babyscripts is looking for an AI Enablement Summer Intern to help teams across the company identify, design, and adopt practical AI-powered workflows. This person will act as an internal consultant and enablement partner, working with department leads and individual teammates to uncover repetitive or high-leverage work, prototype AI agents and automations, and train employees to build and maintain their own AI-enhanced workflows. The ideal candidate is an AI super user who has moved well beyond basic prompting and is comfortable using tools like Claude Code to analyze data, structure complex projects, set up agents, and turn messy workflows into repeatable systems. About Babyscripts Babyscripts is a maternal digital health organization with the goal of Better Pregnancies for All. We provide a suite of products aimed at increasing access to care and improving outcomes. Our products aid in understanding and assessing risk early in the pregnancy to provide the patient and care team with the information that they need for the best care possible. The base of the Babyscripts solution is myJourney, a mobile app with thousands of pieces of clinically-validated content, delivered at the right time in the mom’s pregnancy journey. Built onto myJourney are modules tailored to a patient’s risk level to provide the best-fit support for that patient, while providing care providers with greater insight into the patient’s health and wellbeing. Most notably, these modules include remote patient monitoring for blood pressure to detect and address risk for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, one of the leading causes of maternal mortality.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI tools in applied work settings, with preference for hands-on experience using Claude for project work, analysis, workflow design, or agent-style support
  • Experience creating AI-assisted workflows beyond basic chat questions or email drafting, such as setting up agents, building reusable prompt systems, analyzing datasets, connecting tools, or creating repeatable automation workflows
  • Strong analytical and process-mapping skills; able to break an ambiguous workflow into steps, inputs, decisions, risks, handoffs, and automation opportunities
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and facilitation skills; comfortable working with department leads, managers, and junior staff in both group trainings and 1:1 coaching sessions
  • High judgment around privacy, data security, accuracy, and human-in-the-loop review when applying AI in a healthcare environment
  • A passion for improving the status quo of maternal healthcare
  • Willingness to try new things and jump in to learn quickly on the job; flexible personality
  • Authorization to work in the US is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience in operations, consulting, enablement, product, analytics, process improvement, or another role involving workflow design and change management
  • Experience using Claude for data analysis, document synthesis, project organization, or agent/workflow design
  • Experience with automation or no-code tools such as Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Retool, or similar tools
  • Basic comfort with data analysis in spreadsheets, SQL, Python, R, BI tools, or similar analytical environments
  • Experience running trainings, workshops, office hours, peer education, or other skillbuilding programs
  • Experience and/or passion for healthcare, public health, digital health, and/or innovation

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department leads to map workflows, identify high-friction or repetitive processes, and prioritize opportunities where AI agents, automation, or better AI-assisted practices can meaningfully improve efficiency
  • Lead 1:1 working sessions with teammates to understand specific tasks, design practical AI-assisted workflows, and coach employees until they can confidently run or adapt the workflow themselves
  • Build, test, and document reusable AI workflows, including Claude projects, AI agents, automation recipes, prompt libraries, data analysis workflows, and team-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Use AI tools to support data analysis, research synthesis, operational workflows, content generation, quality checks, and process improvement while maintaining strong judgment around accuracy, privacy, and human review
  • Design and run a weekly company-wide AI enablement and skillbuilding program featuring practical case studies and use cases from different Babyscripts teams
  • Track adoption, gather feedback, and create an internal AI enablement playbook with recommended tools, examples, guardrails, and reusable templates

Benefits

  • $3,000 stipend for 12 weeks (5 days total paid time off allowed, any additional time off will be unpaid)
