About The Position

The AI Enablement Lead is responsible for driving the adoption and scaled delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities across the Manufacturing & Technology (M&T) global business unit. This role sits within Digital Solutions and serves as the central coordinator of AI enablement, ensuring initiatives are aligned, governed, and delivering measurable value across projects and functions. The AI Enablement Lead owns the AI portfolio intake and prioritization process, leads the controlled development AI solutions (including agents, low-code/no-code applications, and lightweight models), and works cross-functionally to identify high-value use cases and eliminate duplication. The role maintains visibility of AI activity across the GBU, and partners with internal teams and external vendors to accelerate adoption. This position works alongside Digital Solutions Data Architecture and AI team to maintain and deploy a robust AI portfolio. This position plays a key role in scaling AI from isolated pilots to repeatable, enterprise-ready solutions, enabling consistent delivery, value tracking, and alignment with business priorities.

Requirements

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in AI, digital enablement, analytics, or project delivery environments.
  • Significant experience in engineering, construction, or project delivery with a proven drive for Continuous Improvement, systems-based approaches, and digital enablement.
  • Experience managing pipelines, portfolios, pilots, or proof-of-concepts, including capturing value, ROI, white papers, and lessons learned.
  • Experience with Design Thinking, Lean, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of project workflows across design, construction, project controls, and handover processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive measurable change across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills—oral, visual, and written—with experience presenting complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to evolving needs, and work across diverse geographic regions and business lines.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, or ideation sessions and ensuring follow-through on decisions and actions.
  • Ability to deliver to stakeholders autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and the ability to ask clarifying questions to ensure the accuracy of technical and commercial requirements.
  • Display a high level of business acumen and strong communication skills to deliver effectively to all levels of the organization including to external entities.
  • Experience in setting and managing formal estimates, budgets, or staffing plans.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, self-learning, and complex problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead intake, evaluation, and prioritization of AI initiatives across the GBU, aligned to business and project priorities.
  • Work with Data Architecture and AI team to assess use-cases, determine build requirements, apply prioritization, and assign resources.
  • Maintain a centralized view of AI initiatives, ensuring visibility, coordination, and governance.
  • Define and track value realization metrics (e.g., efficiency, cost savings, cycle time improvements).
  • Partner closely with project teams and functional stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify AI-enabled solutions. Translate business needs into implementable use cases, ensuring solutions are practical and value-driven.
  • Deliver AI solutions in a controlled and scalable manner, including AI agents and co-pilot, low-code and no-code applications, automation and lightweight models.
  • Identify and promote reuse of solutions across projects and functions, reducing duplication and maximizing value by working across GBUs, projects, and functions to identify overlapping needs and shared opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver guidance, best practices, and training to support broader AI adoption.
  • Build internal capability for low-code/no-code and AI solution development.
  • Enabling and driving adoption of Data governance best practices with the business.
  • Support broader information management and digital enablement activities within the GBU as needed, including data governance, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
  • Contribute to cross-functional Digital Solutions priorities, ensuring alignment between AI initiatives and the broader data and information strategy.
  • Perform other responsibilities aligned with the needs of the Digital Solutions team and evolving business priorities.
