About The Position

Service-Link, a division of Harris, is seeking an AI Enablement Lead responsible for driving the practical adoption of AI tools, processes, and thinking across ServiceLink's business operations. This role is not focused on R&D or product development but aims to equip, educate, and empower every department to leverage AI for improved workflows. It's a cross-functional, high-visibility role reporting directly to the EVP. This is a remote role open to candidates in Canada and the US.

Requirements

  • Background in technology, R&D, or product development with a desire to shift toward business enablement.
  • Understanding of AI tools, concepts, and practical business applications.
  • Hands-on ability to build and deploy AI solutions (e.g., automation workflows, AI integrations, chatbots, prompt engineering, low-code/no-code tools, or scripting).
  • Strong communication skills - ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating independently with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in the software or utility industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with change management or organizational transformation.
  • Familiarity with our products, customers, and internal operations.
  • Experience with Claude Code, Claude Co-Work and/or Codex.
  • Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Assess AI readiness and maturity across all non-R&D departments.
  • Develop and deliver AI training, workshops, and resources tailored to each department's needs and skill level.
  • Demystify AI for non-technical teams, translating capability into practical business value.
  • Partner with department heads to identify high-impact AI use cases within their workflows.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of AI opportunities across the organization.
  • Develop lightweight business cases for AI initiatives, including expected outcomes and effort.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions for business operations, including workflow automations, internal tools, bots, prompts, templates, and integrations.
  • Own the full lifecycle from concept through implementation and iteration.
  • Measure outcomes and refine solutions based on user feedback and real-world performance.
  • Establish and maintain guidelines for approved AI tools, acceptable use, and data handling.
  • Ensure AI usage across the organization is consistent, ethical, and aligned with company policies.
  • Monitor the evolving AI landscape and make recommendations on new tools and practices.
  • Serve as the bridge between R&D's AI capabilities and the business's operational needs.
  • Coordinate with R&D and IT as needed, without owning their roadmaps or technical decisions.
  • Report regularly to the EVP on progress, adoption metrics, blockers, and opportunities.
  • Build internal enthusiasm and momentum around AI adoption.
  • Identify and develop AI advocates within each department.
  • Address resistance through education, quick wins, and demonstrated value.
