About The Position

GEMRT is seeking a passionate and career-minded AI Enablement Lead to join their growing public accounting firm. This is a brand-new, hands-on role focused on implementing and driving the adoption of AI across the firm. The AI Enablement Lead will be the primary point of contact for AI needs, working to integrate AI into daily operations, improve client service, and enhance teammate workflows. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, educational skills, and advisory capabilities, with the opportunity for significant growth as this is a new department and initiative. The firm has approximately 85 employees, offering ample opportunity for impact.

Requirements

3+ years in public accounting, professional services, or a similarly complex, client-focused environment
Hands-on experience building with generative AI tools over the past year or two with a track record of turning that work into real, measurable impact.
Experience with prompting, low-code agents, and rapid prototyping.
Comfort integrating AI into everyday tools and systems, including familiarity with platforms like Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or OpenAI, and with modern integration patterns (e.g. APIs, MCP).
Proven ability to design and deliver training and drive adoption of new technology with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, practical language that any teammate can act on.
Exceptional communication and presence, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and represent new ideas well to firm leadership and staff alike.
A strong sense of ownership and comfort operating as a team of one. Self-directed, resourceful, and able to carry an initiative from strategy through execution.
Sound judgment around responsible, secure, and ethical use of AI, especially with confidential client information.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills and strong attention to detail.
Team player, client focused, and quality in detailed work.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to improve workflows using AI and automation.
Implement GenAI/LLM tools, assistants, and automated workflows.
Train partners and staff on ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, prompting, and other AI tools.
Develop practical AI training, workshops, and internal resources.
Partner with departments to identify AI and automation opportunities.
Help establish responsible AI, security, and confidentiality practices.
Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend solutions for the firm.
