About The Position

We’re looking for an Experienced AI Development Lead to help us build and ship AI-powered features across our platform. This is a hands-on builder role with ownership. You’ll work directly on implementing AI solutions while helping shape how AI fits into our products and workflows. Not entry-level, but also not purely strategic. We need someone who can execute and grow with us.

Requirements

  • Python (required)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or backend frameworks
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar)
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG
  • Familiarity with NLP and basic ML concepts
  • PyTorch or TensorFlow (basic proficiency is fine)
  • LangChain or similar orchestration tools
  • REST APIs and microservices
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
  • SQL and working with structured/unstructured data
  • Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)
  • Curious and proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills
  • Interest in building real-world AI applications, not just experiments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or dental software
  • Familiarity with HIPAA or sensitive data handling
  • Experience building user-facing AI features
  • Exposure to analytics or reporting systems

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship AI features inside our dental practice software
  • Work on LLM-powered workflows (documentation, automation, insights)
  • Design and implement APIs and services for AI capabilities
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes using AI
  • Prototype quickly and iterate based on real user needs
