About The Position

The AI Agent Developer designs and builds enterprise AI agents that automate, guide, and standardize application development and deployment workflows across Mobility’s MERN application teams and Azure DevOps (ADO) platform teams. These agents function as digital DevOps consultants—helping developers, vendors, and SMEs comply with our standards, accelerate testing and deployment, and reduce friction across CI/CD, Kubernetes, and application lifecycle workflows. The role operates entirely in lab and non‑production environments. What A Typical Day Looks Like: 1) MERN Application Development Enablement AI agents assist developers working on Mobility service and network design systems by: Generating and validating JEST test cases from requirements, React components, and Node.js services Reviewing test coverage and identifying defect-prone areas before code submission Generating design documentation directly from MERN codebases Assisting with JSON/YAML validation for service definitions and configurations Supporting Jira workflows by creating, updating, and summarizing tickets from commits and test results Directly accelerates the MERN team’s SDLC responsibilities without changing their tools or processes 2) Azure DevOps & Vendor Enablement AI agents support ADO engineers and vendor-facing workflows by: Reviewing vendor repositories for compliance Proper use of HashiCorp Vault Secure pipeline practices Assisting with ADO pipeline creation and templating for consistency across teams and vendors Analyzing pipeline execution failures and summarizing root causes Generating deployment readiness checks for Kubernetes-based applications Assisting vendors and application SMEs with troubleshooting and best practices Reduces review cycles and manual consulting overhead for ADO engineers 3) Kubernetes & Deployment Automation Support AI agents are designed to: Analyze Kubernetes deployment configurations (Helm charts, manifests) Validate environment-agnostic deployment assumptions Assist with troubleshooting issues on Linux-based ADO agents Help standardize vendor-provided artifacts without taking ownership of image or Helm creation Aligns with the team’s scope: application-level deployment, not infrastructure provisioning Additional Responsibilities Design and build LLM-powered AI agents integrated into: Azure DevOps (ADO) Git repositories Jira CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes-based deployment workflows Develop tool-using agents capable of: Reading and writing JSON/YAML Analyzing test results, logs, and pipeline output Interacting with internal APIs and documentation Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines leveraging: Requirements documents Design specs Internal standards and policies Historical defects and pipeline issues Create reusable agent templates for: Test automation Vendor compliance checks Deployment readiness validation Ensure agents comply with security, governance, and audit standards Partner with MERN developers, ADO engineers, and vendors as an enablement function

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (ADO preferred).
  • Familiarity with automated testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and Jira-based workflows.
  • Experience integrating AI tools into existing engineering workflows (not greenfield AI products).

Responsibilities

  • Design and build LLM-powered AI agents integrated into Azure DevOps (ADO), Git repositories, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes-based deployment workflows.
  • Develop tool-using agents capable of reading and writing JSON/YAML, analyzing test results, logs, and pipeline output, and interacting with internal APIs and documentation.
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines leveraging requirements documents, design specs, internal standards and policies, and historical defects and pipeline issues.
  • Create reusable agent templates for test automation, vendor compliance checks, and deployment readiness validation.
  • Ensure agents comply with security, governance, and audit standards.
  • Partner with MERN developers, ADO engineers, and vendors as an enablement function.
