Requirements
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree.
- Eight or more years of software engineering experience supporting modern development workflows, tools, or platforms.
- Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages.
- Experience working with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems.
- Hands-on experience using AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents.
- Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling.
- Solid understanding of software development workflows, engineering best practices, and developer productivity challenges.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automated code review or static analysis tools.
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks or orchestration systems.
- Experience supporting developer platforms or internal engineering enablement teams.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience developing VS Code extensions using TypeScript or Electron.
Responsibilities
- You design and implement AI-assisted IDE capabilities and internal developer tooling that streamline daily engineering workflows.
- You integrate agent-based systems to automate repetitive tasks such as code reviews, unit test generation, and code quality analysis.
- You experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents that support software development activities end to end.
- You integrate new tools into existing development platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- You work closely with customers and teammates to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and refine solutions.
- You measure, document, and communicate the impact of tooling improvements to guide future enhancements.
