About The Position

We are seeking an AI Developer/ Applied ML Practitioner to assist our client in sustaining and modernizing FAA enterprise data and analytics platforms. They will support Palantir Foundry, AI/ML, EDP, data governance, cloud modernization, and business intelligence. This position is anticipated to be worked remotely but candidates must live in a close enough radius to report onsite in Washington, DC "as needed".

Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent in data science, IT, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of software development experience, especially AI applications in cloud environments.
Strong skills in AI/ML software engineering, Python, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, LangChain , AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, and Palantir Foundry

Responsibilities

Develop analytical products, dashboards, predictive models, machine learning solutions, and decision-support capabilities.
Implement prototype AI solutions, LLM workflows, and analytics accelerators.
Code and configure AI applications within Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Palantir Foundry.
Implement autonomous agentic workflows, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM alignment techniques.
Integrate AI models into existing systems and support troubleshooting, optimization, and knowledge transfer.
