As a member of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will work with Apple’s procurement, engineering, and operations teams to help create and introduce Apple products to the world. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with general transactional matters
• JD degree or equivalent
• Admission to at least one US state bar

• Experience with artificial intelligence, intellectual property, privacy, export compliance, or user study research issues
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements
• Ability to handle your own high-volume workload on day-to-day matters
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple range of matters supporting multiple cross-functional teams
• Ability to distill complex legal concepts into practical guidance for non-lawyers
• Crisp and clear communication style
• Ability to advise executive management

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements with third parties to integrate AI models into internal and external tools.
• Draft and negotiate agreements to create, license, and modify data to train AI features.
• Draft and negotiate agreements to leverage compute and storage resources for AI feature development.
• Advise the business in the day-to-day work with third parties involved in AI development.
• Advise the business in the related development of artificial intelligence features.
• Manage a large docket of deals.
• Solve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways, while maintaining an acceptable level of legal risk in a fast-paced environment.
• Advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.
