About The Position

As an AI Software Engineering PhD Intern, you will contribute to designing, developing, and optimizing AI software solutions in areas such as computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. You will implement and tune AI models for performance and accuracy, explore applied research opportunities, and work on hardware-software integration to enable scalable and efficient AI solutions. The work supports Intel's technology development and offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Requirements

Currently pursuing a PhD in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python programming and machine learning techniques.

Nice To Haves

GPA of 3.0.
Experience with data analysis and visualization.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
Experience with machine vision and image processing.
Familiarity with machine learning and statistical modeling of time-series data.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize machine vision models for processing and analyzing image data.
Build statistical models to assess and predict risks and impacts experienced by semiconductor wafers.
