About The Position
We are looking for an AI & Data Science Intern to support data science, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will work with data to uncover insights, develop analytical models, and explore AI-driven solutions that help improve business processes and decision-making. You will gain hands-on experience with machine learning, Generative AI, data visualization, and automation technologies while collaborating with experienced data, engineering, and business professionals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data science, machine learning, analytics, and AI technologies.
- Basic knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and predictive modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with Python and common data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar tools.
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and AI concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly.
- Eagerness to learn, experiment, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI agents is a plus.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI technologies, or similar AI platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Understanding of APIs and data integration concepts is a plus.
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or PHP is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis, reporting, and AI/ML projects.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Support the development, testing, and evaluation of machine learning and predictive analytics models.
- Assist in building and improving data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Explore and apply Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-driven tools to solve business challenges.
- Support the development of automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Help translate business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
- Participate in proof-of-concept projects involving AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data science, analytics, and innovation initiatives.
- Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations, and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Learn and apply best practices in data science, machine learning, responsible AI, and data governance.
