AI Data Integration Engineer, RCM Systems

Harris Computer•Remote - Oklahoma, OK
•$150,000 - $160,000

About The Position

The AI Data Integration Engineer will design and build integrations that connect internal and external systems to Resolv Core, using AI/LLM tools to accelerate schema mapping, field reconciliation, and data-quality checks. The role involves creating data models and source-to-target mapping specifications for Practice Management systems, building ETL processes and REST/SOAP APIs, and cleansing, structuring, and enriching source data into the platform’s target format. The engineer will work with legacy systems, including those with limited documentation, and help establish integration approaches where no existing playbook is available. The position is responsible for monitoring and resolving production integration issues and maintaining data models, mapping specifications, and pipeline configurations. It collaborates with the AI Architect, product, engineering, operations, and leadership. The role requires production integration or ETL experience, AI/LLM API experience, SQL and relational database proficiency, scripting familiarity, and an understanding of healthcare data security practices. Healthcare/RCM experience and exposure to Practice Management systems are preferred.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in data/system integration or ETL engineering, building production integrations against complex legacy systems.
  • Hands-on experience using AI/LLM APIs, such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, for schema inference, field mapping/entity resolution, or automated data-quality checks, with concrete examples.
  • Judgment in selecting the best approach to using AI tools.
  • Production-grade proficiency with SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Python and JavaScript or a similar scripting language.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes, data pipelines, and APIs to move data between applications and data sources.
  • REST and SOAP API development experience.
  • Comfort with JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and EDI formats.
  • Experience with data modeling and authoring mapping specifications.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and PHI security practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare/RCM experience.
  • Direct exposure to one or more Practice Management systems.
  • Familiarity with the Azure stack, including Fabric, Data Lake, SQL, and Data Factory.
  • HL7/FHIR knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design of integration strategies and solutions connecting internal and external systems to the central platform.
  • Use AI/LLM tools to accelerate schema mapping, field reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
  • Build data models and source-to-target mapping specifications from Practice Management systems to the AI platform.
  • Design and build ETL processes and REST/SOAP APIs to move data into Resolv Core according to the architect’s design.
  • Cleanse, structure, and enrich source data into Resolv Core’s target format.
  • Develop integration approaches for poorly documented legacy systems where no existing playbook is available.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production integration issues.
