About The Position

At AFS, AI & Data Analysts support federal agencies in using data, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence to improve mission outcomes. Analysts design and build data pipelines, develop analytics and AI solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to integrate these tools into real-world government operations. This role blends hands-on technical work with problem‑solving, experimentation, and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM or technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics with strong data science coursework, with graduation by August 31, 2027.
Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA preferred) from a 4-year accredited institution.
Engineering background with foundational skills in data analysis, programming, and problem-solving.
U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
