About The Position

This role focuses on designing and developing secure systems and applications within a cloud and AI environment. The architect will interface with various technical teams, customers, and third parties to understand and meet global security needs. Key responsibilities include analyzing security data, designing secure services (DNS, HTTP Servers, MicroServices, Container Infrastructure, CICD pipelines), ensuring access control, encryption, and compliance, and defining engineering standards. The role also involves communicating complex security information, analyzing risks, recommending solutions, integrating network security controls, and documenting security findings.

Requirements

BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Interfaces with Information Technology (IT), Engineering / Product Development and other technical counterparts, customers and third parties to ensure an integrated approach to understanding and meeting global security needs.
Interprets and analyzes security data, identifying patterns and anomalies and providing advice and consultation across major program and solution areas.
Designs and develops new systems, applications and solutions for services such as DNS, HTTP Servers, MicroServices, Container Infrastructure and CICD pipelines – helps ensure appropriate access control, encryption, security controls and compliance.
Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, etc.
Contributes to the definition of engineering standards and technologies / frameworks and leads associated working groups.
Communicates complex security and related technical and procedural information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Provides complex analysis of potential security risks to and recommends innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions.
Integrates network security controls into an environment to identify risks and reduce their impact.
Accurately and comprehensively documents security issues, findings and recommendations.
