About The Position

Nissan is seeking an AI Autonomous Driving Verification & Validation Intern to join its team in Santa Clara, California, for a 12-week summer program. The intern will work with engineers and researchers developing verification and validation approaches for end-to-end, AI-powered autonomous driving systems. The work focuses on ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and robust in real-world and simulated driving environments. The intern will help develop testing, simulation, and evaluation frameworks; analyze driving behavior and system performance; and apply AI and data-driven methods to improve validation of autonomous driving technologies. The role is intended for students interested in autonomous vehicles, AI, machine learning, robotics, and large-scale system evaluation. The position is described as onsite, although the posting also lists the ability to work onsite at Franklin, Tennessee, despite the stated Santa Clara, California location.
