About The Position

High Performance Aviation, LLC is seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to join their team in Conroe, Texas. Requirements

• Hands-on experience building workflows using platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools (n8n experience strongly preferred).
• Strong skills in Python and JavaScript, particularly in automation and integration environments.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of AI tools, large language models, and emerging automation technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong communication within a small, dynamic team.
• Ability to quickly identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows that eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Create seamless connections between business systems using APIs, webhooks, and cloud-based integrations.
• Develop custom business logic, scripts, and integrations using Python and JavaScript.
• Research, integrate, and optimize AI tools including OpenAI APIs, embeddings, document processing, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Build lightweight operational tools, dashboards, and customer-facing systems that improve efficiency and client experience.
• Debug, test, and optimize workflows and systems for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support deployment workflows, cloud-hosted systems, GitHub repositories, and technical infrastructure as needed.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
