About The Position

We’re hiring an AI & Automation Delivery Lead to help our Generative AI and Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) deliver high‑impact AI and automation solutions from idea to scaled adoption. Delivery Leads bridge strategy, technology, and the business—coordinating teams to move AI and automation use cases through discovery, pilot, production, and scaled adoption. This role is ideal for a delivery leader who is technically conversant in modern AI and automation approaches (including agent-based systems) and can translate those capabilities into structured, enterprise-ready outcomes. Requirements

• Proven success delivering digital products/projects/programs with varying levels of complexity, funding, and stakeholder impact, including AI solutions such as automation-driven or agent-based use cases.
• Experience leading multiple parallel initiatives that include AI and/or automation, with strong technical and delivery focus.
• Ability to work effectively alongside engineering teams building AI and agent-based systems, with a strong understanding of delivery dependencies, scaling considerations, and operational risks.
• Ability to coordinate internal and external resources across multiple functional areas.
• Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence; able to adapt style for technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Comfortable reporting outcomes, benefits, and risks at multiple leadership levels; able to escalate issues appropriately.
• 8+ years in digital product delivery and/or progressive project management, including 5+ years partnering directly with senior leaders.
• Strong industry and business acumen.
• University degree (or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of delivery tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Microsoft 365).
• Working knowledge of agentic/automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (including Copilot, Power Automate) and AWS Bedrock, SageMaker.
• In support of our contract with the Federal Government, this role requires Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) , including fingerprinting, a criminal record check, and a credit check.
• You must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizenship status.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery plans (scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies) for AI/automation initiatives.
• Align stakeholders on goals, success measures, and capability requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data, security, privacy, and business) to deliver agreed milestones.
• Ensure AI and automation solutions—including agent-driven workflows—are operationalized, monitored, and scaled effectively
• Coordinate across teams to ensure readiness for deployment, including governance and integration requirements for AI-driven solutions
• Continuously improve delivery practices, templates, and ways of working within the COE.
• Provide clear reporting to leadership, proactively escalating issues and recommending options.
