About The Position

The Analytics AI Platform Manager is responsible for selecting, enabling, governing, and scaling analytics and AI capabilities across Broadfield Law’s global platform. The Manager is responsible for leading SHP Legal Services’ efforts to integrate artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across Broadfield operations to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and drive innovation. This role is not focused on building AI models from scratch, but instead on identifying and operationalizing enterprise AI tools, driving adoption across the business, establishing Responsible AI frameworks, and delivering analytics solutions that improve decision-making. The Manager partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize analytics and AI-enabled solutions that support firm operations and client outcomes. This includes overseeing analytics and AI product development, managing vendor relationships, and driving responsible use of data and technology in accordance with SHP and Broadfield’s compliance and governance standards. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise in analytics solutions and AI platforms, a strong understanding of legal workflows, and the ability to translate complex technologies into practical, scalable solutions. Success is defined by measurable productivity gains, strong adoption, governed AI usage, and actionable insights. The Manager must also foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, positioning SHP and Broadfield at the forefront of legal innovation.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience delivering data analytics, business intelligence, and AI-enabled solutions, preferably within legal, professional services, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, and experience building scalable dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working with or alongside data scientists, or functioning as a highly skilled data analyst, with the ability to apply statistical thinking, data exploration, and insight generation to real business problems.
  • Practical familiarity with enterprise AI tools (e.g., copilots, LLM-based platforms) and ability to operationalize AI capabilities, rather than build models from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, data quality, and privacy considerations, particularly in regulated environments.
  • Ability to integrate analytics and AI solutions into enterprise systems and business workflows, driving measurable improvements in decision-making and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, working across business, legal, and technology teams to deliver data-driven outcomes.
  • Experience evaluating and managing vendors for analytics, AI platforms, and data solutions, ensuring scalability and cost control.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate data insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to data-driven culture, continuous improvement, and scalable analytics capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead SHP and Broadfield’s analytics & insights delivery, developing Matter lifecycle dashboards and enabling self-service analytics.
  • Define and lead SHP and Broadfield’s AI strategy, aligning technology initiatives with strategic priorities and operational goals.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation across the Broadfield platform to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve client service delivery.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop innovation roadmaps that support long-term growth and transformation.
  • Work with firm leadership to establish and operationalize governance frameworks for responsible AI use, including data privacy, ethical standards, and performance monitoring.
  • Align analytics and AI initiatives with business needs and integrated effectively into existing systems and processes.
  • Provide professional development and thought leadership to internal teams and in support of Broadfield, promoting awareness and adoption of AI capabilities.
  • Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to support high-impact analytics and AI and innovation initiatives.
  • Execute against defined strategy to achieve SHP and Broadfield analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and optimization of AI-enabled tools and platforms across SHP and Broadfield’s operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships to result in cost-effective and scalable AI solutions.
  • Monitor AI system performance across the technology ecosystem, resolving technical issues and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Drive compliance with SHP and Broadfield’s data governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards as well as regulatory requirements for Broadfield firms.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, research, press, and regulatory developments—specifically in legal technology and AI, including ethics.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize legal operations through AI and emerging technologies, driving measurable improvements in efficiency and service delivery.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to refine AI solutions to deliver meaningful value.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, iterative development, and cross-functional collaboration.
