About The Position

RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) is seeking an AI Adoption Analyst to support a key strategic initiative aimed at driving AI adoption across its investment teams. This role offers a unique opportunity for a junior professional to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and investment management, contributing to the transformation of investment decision-making processes. The AI for Alpha initiative focuses on accelerating the adoption of AI tools to enhance investment processes, involving all investment teams and leveraging internal support functions like technology and data.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline).
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to deliver results in academic or professional settings.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and current developments in AI and large language models.
• Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python).
• Strong numerical and/or statistical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with investment management concepts (e.g., portfolio construction, risk management).
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks or APIs.
• Knowledge of evaluation methodologies for large language models and AI agents.
• Exposure to data visualization tools or business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working in or supporting financial services teams.

Responsibilities

• Support investment team members in their AI journey by ensuring effective adoption and a high-quality user experience.
• Evaluate AI use cases, agents, systems, and skills to ensure output quality, reliability, and alignment with investment workflows and objectives.
• Assist in developing and refining evaluation frameworks and quality assurance processes for AI agents and their outputs.
• Monitor AI system performance and usage to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement of AI tools and workflows.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and strategies, and communicate relevant developments to the investment team.
• Create and maintain documentation, best practices, and shared resources for AI tool usage and use cases within investment teams.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to escalate issues, communicate enhancement requests, and support integration efforts.
