About The Position

About the Role We’re recruiting a senior full-stack engineer who will push the boundaries of applying AI agents to solve real-world problems serving middle America. As part of the engineering team at UpSmith, you’ll get the chance to own products and user experiences end-to-end, enabled by our core values of being an owner, winning with speed, and acting with courage.

Requirements

• Belief in the dignity of work and our mission to tackle U.S. skilled workforce shortages
• 4+ years of experience in product-focused engineering
• Track record of shipping simple, intuitive and delightful user experiences
• Proficiency in Python, React, Typescript, or equivalent languages and drive to learn
• Able to navigate ambiguity with little coaching, prizing action over inaction
• Comfortable operating with both an “in the clouds” and “in the weeds” mindset
• Adaptable, with understanding that software development is a team sport
• Willingness to mentor and be a coach
