About The Position

About this role: Consumer Banking & Lending’s Digital, Data, and Artificial Intelligence organization is seeking an AI Adoption & Capabilities Director. The Director will own end‑to-end AI adoption for Consumer Banking & Lending. This leader will act as the connective tissue between CBL businesses, enterprise AI teams, and technology partners—enabling AI execution at scale. You will identify where AI can unlock the greatest value across lines of business and functions, define the right tools and capabilities to deploy, and ensure measurable adoption and impact. As the CBL Lead for the Enterprise AI Champions program, you will build a strong community of practice that accelerates learning, standardization, and reuse. In this role, you will: AI Adoption Strategy, Enablement & Measurement Define and champion a clear, outcome‑driven AI adoption strategy aligned to CBL priorities and enterprise AI direction. Translate CBL business needs into a targeted portfolio of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Hex, and emerging platforms), partnering with enterprise AI teams to shape roadmaps and deployment plans. Design and deliver role‑based AI training and enablement programs in partnership with Learning and AI Champions to accelerate hands-on adoption. Lead and scale a CBL AI community of practice through structured forums, playbooks, and recurring routines that normalize AI usage. Establish and track adoption, productivity, and business‑impact metrics to quantify value and continuously refine strategy. Internal AI Capabilities & Platforms Partner with enterprise AI, technology, and data science teams to launch and scale shared AI platforms and internal capabilities across CBL. Own and maintain a forward‑looking AI capabilities roadmap tied directly to high‑priority business use cases and operational needs. Ensure capabilities are reusable, governed, and designed for scale across multiple lines of business. AI Use Case Identification & Solution Development Partner with Card, Home Lending, Auto, Deposits, Branch, and functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and shape high‑impact AI use cases aligned with CBL strategy. Connect related use cases across the enterprise to drive reuse, reduce duplication, and accelerate delivery. Continuously surface and socialize new AI capabilities and solutions to business leaders, enabling faster experimentation and deployment. Leadership & Execution Lead and influence cross‑functional teams spanning product, engineering, data science, and business partners to deliver measurable outcomes. Set a high bar for execution discipline, talent development, and collaboration. Build internal AI fluency across teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and responsible innovation. Stakeholder & Executive Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to senior CBL executives on AI strategy, opportunities, and trade‑offs. Translate complex AI concepts into clear business implications and actions. Build strong, durable partnerships across CBL and enterprise functions to align priorities and accelerate results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Artificial Intelligence solutions experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
