About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking AH-64 Product Repair Modification (Entry Level, Associate, or Mid level) Technicians to support the AH-64 team in Mesa, Arizona.

Requirements

  • Experience with assembling, disassembling, or repairing components associated with aircraft
  • Experience working as an aircraft mechanic
  • Must be willing and able to work variable shifts (1st and/or 2nd based on business needs)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year experience with assembling, disassembling, or repairing components associated with aircraft (for GFD5IB)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with assembling, disassembling, or repairing components associated with aircraft (for GFD5IC)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an aircraft mechanic (for GFD5IB)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic (for GFD5IC)
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
  • AH-64 experience

Responsibilities

  • Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
  • Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
  • Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
  • Works under supervision.
