Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics required, preferably in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Monitors Automated Guided Vehicle traffic throughout the Medical Center from the AGVS computer.
  • Takes corrective action when encountering equipment malfunctions.
  • Reports system issues to supervisor and EIS department.
  • Assigns tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Uses department template and post in a visible area.
  • Ensures that there are no discrepancies and vacation an holiday request are taken into consideration.
  • Acts as a point of contact for external departments for urgent request and communicates with AGVS team as needed.
  • Ensures that all methods of communication are always accessible.
  • Oversees department equipment and machinery and reports defects.
  • Verifies the functionality of all: AGV, Chargers, Sensors, Elevators, Compactors, Tippers, Cart washers, Sterilizers. Carts, and Computers., Radios, Joysticks, flat beds.
  • Ensures standards are met by conducting internal audits.
  • Observes areas impacted by AGVS and reports to supervisor occurrences that does not meet department standards.
  • Makes rounds throughout the Medical Center to ensure that trash, linen, and regulated medical waste are in the correct cart in the AGVS rooms and all carts are in the appropriate positions.
