About The Position
In this position, the team member will be temporarily employed during the spring planting and/or fall harvest seasons. This role involves assisting with various operational duties related to agronomy services.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification.
- Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Class A CDL driver’s license (will assist with obtaining one)
Responsibilities
- Fill anhydrous tanks, and help deliver them to the customers.
- Load seed and chemicals for customers.
- Load and Deliver Fertilizer to customer’s sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores.
- Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report all maintenance items to supervisor.
- Assist with other duties assigned by the Location Manager.
