2027 Summer Internship - Agronomy Level 2
About The Position
Innovative Ag Services (IAS) is seeking talented individuals for their 2027 Summer Internship Program. IAS is a full-service farm cooperative serving over 5,000 members across 30 locations in northeast and central Iowa, and southwest Wisconsin, offering a complete line of supplies and services in grain, agronomy, feed, energy, and building supply markets. This internship is designed for Junior & Senior level students enrolled in post-secondary education. The primary objective is to gain experience in multiple areas of the agriculture business while providing operational support safely and effectively for the benefit of IAS and its member owners. Level II interns will work alongside Agronomy Sales Advisors, receive on-the-job training, and promote IAS products and programs.
Requirements
- Junior & Senior level student enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Proficient and confident technological skills, especially with Microsoft Suite.
- Exposure to learning scouting software and soil scan machines.
- Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
- Ability to communicate information or ideas effectively in written or oral form.
- Ability to organize, effectively manage change, and work on multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Seasonal CDL is a plus.
