About The Position

This is a part-time position at Yorkton Agro Centre. The role involves delivering legendary service to customers, performing general agro duties, cashiering, stocking, and assisting with paint-related customer needs.

Requirements

• 16+ years of age.
• Retail experience in customer service, Agro products, point of sale operation, and merchandising.
• Comfortable with different computer systems, web browsers, and have proficient computer skills.
• Valid class 5 driver’s licence.
• Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 60 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.

Nice To Haves

• Power Mobile Equipment Certificate (willing to train).
• Willing to obtain a Propane Dispenser Certificate.

Responsibilities

• General Agro duties - interior/exterior housekeeping and maintenance, opening/closing procedures.
• Cashiering – processing transactions through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Stocking – Unload freight, stock and face products within the store and yard.
• Paint duties - Assess customers’ needs and provide advice on paint products, applications, solutions and additional products for their projects.
