About The Position

Core Specialty’s Early Career Development Program (ECDP) is a two-year, full-time initiative for graduating seniors and early career professionals. ECDPs work alongside industry experts on daily tasks and projects, build productive relationships, and network with leaders at all levels and diverse teams. With guided development and tailored networking experiences, participants gain the skills to advance their career. This program offers the opportunity to explore an exciting career path in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic understanding of statistics
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Agriculture such as Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or Agronomy
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (sponsorship not available)

Responsibilities

• Learn reinsurance underwriting including developing RapidPro proficiency
• Understand crop insurance
• Develop relationships with key clients and industry professionals
• Support Agriculture Division staff with underwriting and reporting
