About The Position

QIMA offers comprehensive solutions for the food industry, covering the entire supply chain from farm to fork. These solutions include GFSI-recognized certifications such as PrimusGFS, GLOBALG.A.P., SQF, BRCGS, and IFS, alongside third- and second-party food safety audits, ethical audits, quality seals, inspections, training, and supply chain management. The company operates with offices in Brazil, the United States, and Mexico, supported by a global team of auditors. Since 2019, QIMA has been part of the QIMA Group. This position involves conducting food safety inspections and audits in adherence to QIMA/WQS and scheme owner regulations. The auditor will be responsible for developing inspection and audit reports within specified timeframes, summarizing and evaluating findings, and communicating these results to client representatives. Additionally, the role requires developing effective audit plans to ensure the timely completion of assigned inspections and audits.

Requirements

• Education: Agricultural/crop-based, food-related subject with a minimum duration of 2 years
• Experience: 5 years of work experience of which at least 3 years in the agricultural sector
• Location: Live in California area
• Schemes: GLOBALG.A.P. and PGFS

Nice To Haves

• 16-hour or 2-day HACCP course based on Codex
• Lead Auditor Course with a duration of one week/40 hours or equivalent (ISO 9001 or ISO 22000)
• Food Hygiene Training (min. 8 hours) covering: site management, water, fertilizer, equipment, facilities and personal hygiene, and practical case studies (FSMA Produce Safety Rule training)
