About The Position

The Agriculture Lab Assistant provides support for faculty and students within the Agriculture department to include lab set-up, inventory management, equipment clean-up and tool room management, field plot research and Greenhouse management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Must be enrolled or completed a AAS degree (or Higher) in an field related to Agricultural Industry
• Mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete agriculture-based projects.
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Inventory control
• Tool checkout/custody
• Facility cleaning and routine maintenance
• Lab set up/assistance
• Aquaponic system maintenance
• Hydroponic system maintenance
• Greenhouse system maintenance
• Field Plot Research Assistant
• Other duties as assigned
