About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic to join their team in Robbins, CA. This role involves working on Agriculture equipment at customer locations to ensure maximum uptime and peak performance. The Field Mechanic will travel the area in a service vehicle, perform repairs, interact with customers, and ensure jobs are completed correctly. Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably Agriculture equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
• Ability to work weekends during peak seasons (March-May and August-October) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work on Agriculture equipment at customer locations.
• Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime.
• Travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle.
