About The Position

Responsible for providing credit analysis and portfolio support for agricultural and agribusiness clients. Analyzes financial information to support credit decisions, monitor risk, and ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory standards across an agricultural loan portfolio. Supports Relationship Managers and Credit Officers by preparing financial spreads, cash flow analysis, collateral evaluations, and credit memorandums for new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and ongoing portfolio management. Loan exposure may include operating lines of credit, term loans, real estate-secured loans, equipment financing, and other agriculture-specific credit products. Develops an understanding of agricultural production cycles, commodity markets, and seasonal cash flow patterns, and applies this knowledge when assessing borrower repayment capacity and risk. Works collaboratively with relationship teams to address credit questions, covenant monitoring, and portfolio reviews. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent underwriting experience
  • Typically one or more years of underwriting experience (for Credit Analyst 4)
  • Typically three or more years of underwriting experience (for Credit Analyst 5)

Nice To Haves

  • Strong agricultural credit analysis and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of ag credit practices, underwriting, and risk assessment
  • Background in agricultural economics, accounting, or finance
  • Ability to write clear credit summaries and reports
  • Strong communication skills with agricultural clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems
  • Master’s degree or CPA preferred
