They are expanding operations and seeking an Agricultural Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team at headquarters. The role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on building a sustainable future in farm management.

Requirements

Two (2) years of experience.
Qualified and/or certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) / Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A) preferred.
Comprehend and interpret technical service manuals and schematics.
Consistent in troubleshooting skills in electrical and hydraulic systems.
Operate vehicle and equipment safely in the service shop and in the field.
Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends.
Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment such as harvesters, tractors, Soil Preparation Equipment, Seed Drills, Mowers, Diggers, Transplanters, Utility Vehicles and various farm equipment attachments/implements.
Inspect and repair equipment with faults and malfunctions.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine the extent of repair required.
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.
Maintain attachments and working tools such as tillage, planting irrigation, plows, discs, loaders, bale spear, root grapple, pallet forks, mowers, shredders, cultivators wagons, trailers to manufacturing specifications.
Perform repair work on heavy equipment, devices, tools.
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, mechanical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
Perform Lockout.
Perform Welding duties.
Housekeeping of work area as required.
