About The Position

Under general supervision, the Agreements Specialist provides assistance with the negotiation and execution of sponsored research agreements, clinical study agreements, outgoing sub-awards, and other agreements. The role is responsible for incoming agreements from receipt in the office through contract execution.

• Working knowledge of agreement negotiations, clinical research administration or management, and/or sponsored programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with faculty and staff to prepare agreements.
• Negotiate contract terms and financial issues with for-profit and other sectors.
• Review agreements for compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Negotiate, finalize, and recommend for execution clinical studies, confidential disclosures, testing, and laboratory studies agreements.
• Interact with faculty and administrative staff in the development, negotiation, and finalization of agreements.
• Work with other institutional departments involved in the research enterprise to resolve contract issues and confirm contract arrangements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
