About The Position

The Agile Project Manager will lead and drive the execution of initiatives and projects. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery by managing project documentation, tracking requirements, identifying risks, and resolving execution bottlenecks. The Agile PM needs to understand waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies and best practices, with a strong ability to lead Agile ceremonies, ensure stakeholder alignment, and facilitate efficient collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile project management, preferably in technology-driven initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and ability to drive Agile best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to proactively identify and resolve execution bottlenecks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex project details into clear, actionable updates in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to work with the Product Owner to build out project plan.
  • Prioritize and coordinate resources among various teams.
  • Track all project requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business goals.
  • Identify, review, and proactively mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and blockers that impact execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project impediments.
  • Use sprint metrics including velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, carryover work, defect trends, and predictability to identify improvement opportunities and support delivery forecasting.
  • Support release readiness by coordinating dependencies across development, QA, architecture, release management, business, and other partner teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, dependencies, scope changes, and decision logs.
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise project updates for stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with other Agile Project Managers and leadership in continuously improving agile SDLC best practices and standards (e.g. training, communications, SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.).
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate the Scrum of Scrum across Product Areas for prioritizing and resource alignment across different teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within Agile teams.
  • Coach Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, roles, and effective Agile ways of working.
  • Support capacity planning, sprint planning, and forecasting based on team availability, historical delivery data, and upcoming dependencies.
  • Schedule and manage project meetings, ensuring the right participants are engaged.
  • Take detailed meeting notes, capturing key decisions, action items, and deadlines.
  • Distribute meeting summaries and ensure accountability on the next steps.
  • Follow up with team members to track progress, resolve blockers, and drive execution.
  • Facilitate agile team development, mediate conflicts, and encourage healthy team dynamics that empower the team to solve its own problems.
