About The Position
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies, building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects, and implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps. This role involves agile development and delivery of software, communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders, and analyzing, designing, verifying, validating, implementing, applying, and maintaining software systems. Engineers will appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems, generalize techniques to apply to multiple domains, and develop and provide appropriate documentation and training, including presenting briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Proficient in Software Development Process
- Programming Practice software quality through tools and processes
