About The Position

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies, building REST services with Spring, and implementing CI/CD principles. Software Development is a team-oriented discipline, requiring effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
  • Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
  • Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
  • Agile development and delivery of software
  • Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years.

  • Database: NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design
  • OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
