About The Position
Seasoned Software Integration Engineer with proven experience building, debugging, and maintaining Java and Python based integration services on AWS. Build, debug, and maintain Java and Python based integration services on AWS.
Requirements
- Java and Python
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross language codebases (Java Python) under pressure (e.g., on call rotations)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.
Responsibilities
- Build, debug, and maintain Java and Python based integration services on AWS.
- Systematic root cause analysis; can break down a problem into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly.
- Works effectively with the team (internal and cross domain); comfortable reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback.
- Takes end to end responsibility for integration components—from design through production support.
- Hands on software development focused on integration, or API centric products.
- Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS (including production monitoring) i.e. Lambda, OSS, Cloud Watch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB
- Ability to support an on-call rotation.
