About The Position

We are seeking an Agile Delivery Lead who is a critical thinker and strong communicator, capable of navigating complex situations and driving the best outcomes for clients. This individual will shape and lead the agile delivery model across programs or portfolios, establishing governance, defining operating frameworks, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across teams. They will partner closely with executive stakeholders to align delivery strategy with business outcomes, influence key decisions, and drive the successful adoption of Agile practices. The ideal candidate brings strong emotional intelligence and organizational awareness, enabling them to challenge norms, influence without authority, and help teams deliver scalable, predictable value. Reporting to our Delivery Operations Manager, as a Full-Time Specialist on our team, you will assess current delivery environments to evaluate team maturity, structures, tools, and workflows, then design and implement an Agile delivery framework aligned to business objectives. You will establish governance models, prioritization structures, and initiative intake processes while building transparent reporting, metrics, and executive dashboards to track delivery health and performance. Partnering closely with Product, Technology, and Business leaders, you will align roadmaps, manage cross-team dependencies, and mitigate risks to ensure coordinated and predictable outcomes. You will also coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices, driving adoption and continuous improvement while ensuring consistency in delivery standards across initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in delivery, program management, and/or Agile leadership roles
  • Deep expertise in Agile frameworks and scaling approaches (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, etc.), successfully coaching and transitioning teams, programs, and portfolios
  • Experience in coaching and developing people and teams, influencing behavior change, and establishing sustainability through cultural change
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives and transformations
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience defining operating models, governance structures, and metrics frameworks
  • Ability to coach teams and influence organizational change
  • Experience in delivering presentations to virtual and in-person teams
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Agile certification(s) a plus (e.g., SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI-ACP)

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery strategy, standards, and execution health across programs or portfolios
  • Own delivery accountability for timelines, scope, quality, and outcomes
  • Define KPIs (e.g., velocity, cycle time, predictability, throughput) and ensure adoption
  • Establish and enforce governance forums (e.g., pipeline reviews, steering committees)
  • Drive prioritization alignment across business and technology stakeholders
  • Act as escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and blockers
  • Guide resource planning and capacity management at a program level
  • Ensure consistency in tooling, workflows, and reporting standards (oversight vs. configuration)
  • Provide executive-level communication on delivery status, risks, and outcomes
  • Drive adoption of agile tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to provide updates and ensure alignment
  • Develop and deliver presentations to various levels of stakeholders and facilitate working sessions to identify resolutions to impediments to continuous Agile improvement
  • Effectively leverage and combine different industry-standard scaling concepts to specific business problems in a manner that best supports Scaled Agile values and principles
  • Provide strategic thought leadership during engagements on approaches to overcome impediments to accelerated delivery; skillfully facilitate conflict resolution with and between teams
  • Foster a strong spirit of communication and collaboration between teams to align program goals, deliver final products, and ensure leadership transparency to impediments and progress
  • Ensure appropriate risk management and control practices are integrated into the lifecycle of Agile initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with lines of business, team members, management, key stakeholders, and/or external contacts (e.g., vendors, etc.)
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement for implementing Agile tools and best practices
  • Drive consistent Agile practices and strategies across the organization to enhance business value delivery and responsiveness to organization and marketplace opportunities
  • Ensure Agile concepts and principles are adhered to, and also seen as the voice of reason and authority
