About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Agile Coach for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution. This role is responsible for enabling teams, leaders, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to adopt and continuously improve Lean-Agile principles and practices. The Agile Coach acts as a change agent, promoting an Agile mindset and coaching teams toward high performance to drive measurable improvements in delivery and business outcomes. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Agile delivery environments
3+ years of experience coaching multiple Agile teams or Agile Release Trains
Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe
Demonstrated success leading Agile transformation initiatives
Experience coaching leadership teams and senior stakeholders
Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and organizational change management skills
Expertise with Agile tooling such as Jira, Jira Align, and Azure DevOps
Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT)
Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
Experience with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated use of Copilot Chat (AI) prompt patterns for story mapping and backlog refinement (e.g., Jeff Patton-style story maps)

Responsibilities

Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices
Guide organizations through Agile transformation initiatives and maturity improvements
Promote Lean-Agile values, servant leadership, and continuous learning
Support adoption of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and flow-based delivery practices
Develop Agile capabilities across teams and leadership levels
Assess team and program maturity and create improvement plans
Coach teams on backlog management, prioritization, estimation, planning, and execution
Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment across Agile Release Trains
Support PI Planning preparation, execution, and follow-through
Mentor Scrum Masters to improve effectiveness and develop coaching capabilities
Identify systemic impediments impacting multiple teams or value streams
Coach leaders on organizational design, value stream optimization, and operating models
Drive consistency in Agile practices while allowing flexibility where appropriate
Support governance, risk, compliance, and change management activities without compromising agility
