About The Position

Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Agile Coach with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Agile practitioner with a deep understanding of Army operations and culture, passionate about continuous improvement and committed to empowering teams through coaching, mentoring, and facilitation. Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct Army-specific experience (military, civilian, or contractor).
  • Relevant Agile coaching experience or equivalent certification
  • Senior-level Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent.
  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent).
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills with the ability to build Agile competency across teams of varying experience levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to produce data-driven reports and performance metrics for leadership consumption.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate core Agile functions including sprint planning, backlog grooming and management, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Maintain and visualize work-in-progress using customer designated task management systems to provide leadership with real time visibility into team capacity and activity status.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaling methodologies.
  • Assist with task management and decision prioritization to improve team delivery.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team performance, escalating blockers to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Apply professional coaching techniques to drive team performance improvement and cultural adoption of Agile values.
  • Support organizational change management efforts related to Agile transformation within the directorate.
  • Provide leadership with data-driven reporting and performance metrics in accordance with customer established timelines and deliverable requirements.
